Start your journey as an artist today. \nIntroduction to Watercolour\nA practical and creative introduction to watercolour painting\, designed for beginners to\nexplore essential techniques\, materials\, and colour theory. Students will learn how to control\nwater and pigment while developing confidence in painting expressive studies. \nLearning Outcomes:\nUnderstand and prepare essential watercolour materials.\n• Understand foundation colour theory\, mix and layer colours with confidence.\n• Apply key techniques such as wet-on-wet\, wet-on-dry\, and glazing.\n• Explore experimental watercolour methods.\n• Use tone\, contrast\, and texture effectively.\n• Complete a watercolour composition. \nAbout Kitty McLeod\nThe tutor\, Kitty McLeod\, of Promising Artists\, trained at Ravensbourne University London and the University of Gloucestershire. She has been teaching art and creative workshops with children and adults of all ages nationally since 2010. She has experience in delivering fine art drawing & painting\, illustration\, printmaking\, animation and life drawing classes.
