A pysanka is an ancient Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with folk designs using an ancient wax-resistant method.
Join Nataliya Prepodobna Cummings and artist Helena Orlowski to explore the traditional techniques involved in pysanky, which are decorated in celebration of spring.
The Workshop includes a gentle introduction into the tradition, with hands-on guidance as you make your own eggs to take home with you. You will learn all the skills you need to go away and continue this art form with your friends and family.
